DEXT

Gone are the days of folders or box files stuffed full of receipts.

All of the information we need from your receipts is automatically extracted. Simply scan from the app, or forward your email receipt. If you normally have to login to get your bill, DEXT (formerly known as Receipt Bank) can often ‘fetch’ these too. Furthermore, DEXT is a great expenses management tool. We use it in our own business.

GoCardless

Do you provide a service and receive regular payments from your customers?

If so, GoCardless can help keep the cash flowing. It integrates closely with Xero, and uses Direct Debits to collect your payments. You can even collect variable amounts as and when you invoice. Furthermore, GoCardless streamlines the bookkeeping process. It automatically reconciles payments received with invoices in Xero. We know it works because we use it ourselves!

An alternative to DEXT?

We tend to use DEXT to bring in bills and receipts. However, if you have lots of sales data in systems such as eBay or Etsy, HubDoc could be the solution for you.

Looking for a Customer Relationship Management tool?

Pipedrive is the easiest we’ve found. (Believe us, we’ve looked at and tried lots!). Access phone numbers, your to-do list and take notes with the mobile app. It’s all about ‘activity-based’ sales and relationship management. We can help you to tailor Pipedrive to meet your needs.

Open an account in minutes (yes, really, our customers have done this!).

The Tide direct feed into Xero is easy to set up. No doubt you’ll use Tide for your online banking needs. However, you can pay in cash at at Post Office or PayPoint.

This straight-forward mobile and web app integrates seamlessly with Xero and DEXT. It uses HMRC-compliant Mileage Allowance Payment rates. Better still, it enables most VAT registered businesses to reclaim VAT paid on the fuel-element.
