Receipt Bank

Gone are the days of folders, box files or car glove compartments stuffed full of receipts. Scan from the app, or forward your email and all of the information we need will be automatically extracted from your documents. If you have bills from providers who expect you to login, such as mobiles and utilities, Receipt Bank can ‘fetch’ these too. Receipt Bank is also a great expenses management tool, which we use in our own business.

If you provide a service and receive regular (even varying) payments from your customers, GoCardless might just be the solution you need to keep the cash flowing. It integrates incredibly well with Xero, and uses the Direct Debit system to collect your payments. GoCardless also streamlines the bookkeeping process by automatically reconciling payments received with invoices in Xero. We know it works because we use it ourselves!

We tend to use Receipt Bank to bring in bills and receipts, however if you have lots of sales data in systems such as eBay or Etsy, then HubDoc could be the solution for you.

If you’re looking for a Customer Relationship Management tool, Pipedrive is the easiest we’ve found (and believe us, we’ve looked at and tried lots!). Access phone numbers, your to-do list and keep notes with the mobile app. Generate insights into your data using the web interface, and sync with your Google calendar. It’s all about ‘activity-based’ sales and relationship management. We can help you to tailor Pipedrive to meet your needs.

Open an account in minutes (yes, really, our customers have done this!). The Tide direct feed into Xero is particularly easy to set up. No doubt you’ll use Tide for your online banking requirements, but you can even pay in cash at at Post Office.

Easy mileage recording and expense claims. This straight-forward mobile and web app integrates seemlessly with Xero and Receipt Bank and uses HMRC compliant Mileage Allowance Payment rates. Better still, it enables businesses registered on the standard VAT scheme to reclaim VAT paid on the fuel-element.
