We asked Millie Furby, Owner at The Slipped Stitch in Sherborne about her experience of working with Wessex Commercial Solutions. Millie has been running her yarn shop and workshops for 2 years now. Here’s what she told us.
Why did I choose WCS? – I was invited to one of their Accounts training sessions by a customer who works for them. The session was really informative and WCS had brought a number of their team with them who were chatty and helpful. I was looking for a new accountant as I wasn’t happy with my previous one and felt that WCS was right for me as they appeared to have an emphasis on talking to the client and really ensuring we understand our accounts.
Since I have been with WCS they have been in regular contact with me and are at the other end of the phone or email if I need help. They have asked me questions which have made me think more into the business and look at it in a different way. I now understand my accountancy software much more as well.
It’s a different way of working with an accountant, and it’s reassuring to know that I can ring up with any questions and get a friendly response. It’s great to know they want me to understand my own business better, and won’t keep all of the information to themselves.
